Ads that land on a page built to convert.

Google and Meta ads managed by the same person who built your website, so the ad, the landing page and the tracking are never a hand-off between two companies.

The usual arrangement

The ads agency blames the website. The web company blames the ads.

You pay one company to send traffic and another one to build the page it lands on. The leads are expensive, each company can point at the other, and you are the one holding two invoices and no answer.

How we do it

One person owns the click and the page it lands on.

The campaign and the landing page are built by the same person, so when the cost per enquiry is too high we change whichever one is actually causing it. Usually it is the page, and usually nobody was allowed to touch it.

What we run

Search first, then everything else.

Paid search is where the money usually is for a service business, because the person is already looking. The rest gets added when there is a reason.

Google Search ads

The person typing your service and your suburb into Google right now is the most valuable traffic on the internet, because they have already decided they need what you sell. Tight keyword sets, negative keywords maintained properly, and ad copy that matches what the page actually says.

Local and Maps ads

For businesses whose customers are within driving distance. Ads tied to your Google Business Profile, service area targeting that reflects where you will actually go, and call tracking so you know which suburbs are worth bidding on.

Meta ads

Facebook and Instagram for the part of the market that is not searching yet: awareness, remarketing to people who visited and did not enquire, and offers aimed at a specific area or audience. Sold as part of the Accelerator tier.

Tracking that tells the truth

Conversion tracking configured properly, so a lead is counted once, phone calls are attributed, and the numbers in the report match the enquiries in your inbox. Most accounts we take over are measuring something other than what the owner thinks.

Why us

The landing page is the bit nobody else can fix.

Four reasons ads run by the person who built your website tend to cost less per enquiry.

The click and the page are the same job

Most ad agencies send traffic to a page somebody else built and cannot change. We build the landing page, run the campaign, and change whichever one is holding the result back. There is nobody to blame and nobody to wait for.

Fast pages convert better

Ad quality scores and conversion rates both punish a slow landing page, so you pay more per click and lose more of the clicks you paid for. Our pages are built for speed as a matter of course, which quietly lowers what your ads cost.

Your account, your data

Campaigns run in your own Google and Meta accounts, which you own and can see any time. We never mark up your spend and we take no commission from the platforms. If you leave, the account and its whole history goes with you.

You talk to the person running it

No account manager relaying your question to somebody offshore. The person changing your bids is the person who answers the phone and the person who knows your business.

The unfair advantage

A faster page lowers what every click costs.

Google charges you less per click for a page it considers relevant and fast, and a fast page also loses fewer of the visitors you already paid for. Because we build the page and run the campaign, we can fix a poor conversion rate at whichever end is causing it, on the same afternoon, without asking anybody's permission.

  • Landing pages built in-house, not requested from a third party
  • Page speed treated as an advertising cost, because it is
  • Conversion tracking set up and verified against real enquiries
  • Changes made the day they are needed
How it works

Fix the destination, then buy the traffic.

Four steps, starting with an audit rather than a campaign launch.

We audit what is there

If you have run ads before, we go through the account: what was spent, what it returned, what was being counted as a conversion and whether that number meant anything. Most audits find money going somewhere nobody intended.

We fix the destination first

There is no point buying clicks for a page that does not convert. Before a campaign goes live we make sure the page it lands on is fast, clear and asking for the right next step.

We start small and prove it

A tight campaign on the searches most likely to convert, with a modest budget, until the numbers say it works. Then we scale what is working rather than launching everything at once and guessing.

We report on enquiries, not clicks

Every month: what was spent, what came in, and what each enquiry cost. If the cost per enquiry is higher than a customer is worth to you, we will say so and change course.

I highly recommend Ryan at Furtzdesigns for website design and SEO. He’s put a huge amount of work into our website and ongoing SEO for M & J Electrical Works, and I really appreciate what he’s done for our business. We take a lot of pride in our electrical work, and having a website that reflects that standard is important to us. Ryan has helped us present our business professionally, showcase our actual work and make it easier for customers to understand our services and get in touch. His attention to detail deserves a special mention. From improving our service pages and local SEO to incorporating our job videos and developing our EV charger enquiry tool, he’s put real thought into what our business and customers need. I’m pretty particular about how our business is presented, and I’ve really appreciated the effort he’s put into the changes and ongoing improvements. There’s a lot of work behind the scenes, and it deserves recognition. If you’re a business owner looking for someone to build or improve your website and work on your SEO, I’d happily recommend Ryan. Thanks for everything, mate!

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about what management costs, who holds the ad account, and how much you should be spending.

Ask something else
How much does Google Ads management cost?

Ads management is part of a Digital Growth Partnership rather than a standalone retainer. On Growth Foundations, Google Ads management is a $497 per month add-on. On Growth Partner it is included, with ad spend up to $3,000 a month. On Growth Accelerator you get Google and Meta together with ad spend up to $10,000 a month. Those figures are management only.

Do I pay you the ad spend?

No. Your ad spend goes directly from you to Google or Meta, on accounts in your own name. We never take a percentage of your spend and we never mark up media, because a percentage fee quietly rewards us for spending more of your money. The management fee is flat and it is the only thing you pay us.

Why can't I just buy ads management on its own?

Because it would not work as well and we would rather not sell you something that underperforms. Ads point at a page. If somebody else owns that page and we cannot change it, we are optimising half a system and the results show it. Bundling the website, the page and the campaign into one partnership is the entire reason this works.

How much should I be spending on ads?

It depends on what a customer is worth to you and how competitive your industry is. Some Adelaide trades do very well on a few hundred dollars a month. Legal, dental and finance are far more expensive per click and need a bigger budget to gather enough data to be worth running. We will give you a realistic starting figure before you commit, rather than after.

Are ads better than SEO?

They do different jobs. Ads switch on immediately and stop the day you stop paying. SEO takes months and then keeps working. Most businesses want both: ads for leads now while search builds underneath, then a shift in the balance once the free traffic starts arriving. Deciding which mix suits you is part of the partnership rather than something you have to guess at up front.

Do you run Meta ads too?

Yes, on the Accelerator tier. Facebook and Instagram work differently to search: the person seeing your ad was not looking for you, so it is better for awareness, remarketing and specific offers than for capturing demand that already exists. We will tell you honestly if your business is one where search alone is the better spend.

Can you take over an existing campaign?

Yes, and we will audit it first and show you what we find before changing anything. Common findings are conversions counted more than once, expensive search terms nobody added as negatives, and budget going to searches that were never going to buy. You keep the account and its history either way.

Do you work with businesses outside Adelaide?

Yes. We are based in the Adelaide Hills and a good share of our clients are here, but campaigns run wherever your customers are, and we look after clients across Australia. Local knowledge helps for suburb-level targeting in South Australia; everywhere else, the discipline is the same.
